A star was born in Perth, Australia 31 years ago today to the name Heathcliff Andrew Ledger to a 13 degrees Aries Sun. His 4 Karmic Path had an extra punch of Uranus’s originality and invention with this Aries Sun placement. Leadership positions suited Ledger and he undeniably brought his pioneering spirit to all of his courageous acts along his 34/7 Lifepath.

Neptune guided Ledger throughout his life along his 7 path, where his gravitation to the screen and acting arts is of no surprise. His knack of creating the kind of character anyone could relate to marked his 4 Karmic Path with intense human understanding. The ability to succeed in the cinema arts was the innate path Ledger yearned to follow. Unfortunately with a 7 lifepath so is the potential of the tendency to fall to delusion through the intake of drugs and substance abuse.

Ledger was deeply affected by the well-known Chaldean Numerical understanding of the mysteries surrounding the combination of the 4 and 8 energies. As Astrology will also indicate, Ledger was at the beginning stages of his first Saturn Return, with the planet of karma and fatherly influence returning to where it exactly was when Ledger was born. With his 8 degree Saturn in Virgo placement, the current Saturn in Virgo had just conjunct his natal Saturn while passing directly over it during this Retrograde passage. The Saturn Return can be one of the most challenging periods in a souls’ life. It is times such as these being aware of one’s star secrets can be key to handling and understanding the influences surrounding any soul.

When Saturn entered Virgo in the fall f 2007, it was right away that Ledger saw the energies begin of his Return, as he parted from Michelle Williams. This separation deeply affected him, as well as the distance that came between him and his young daughter Matilda. Williams as well is a native Virgo Sun also currently experiencing her 1st Saturn Return, and it is extremely overwhelming when both one’s Sun and Saturn are conjunct within the natal chart when such a planetary passage as the Saturn Return occurs. The Karmic Mystery is deeply understood to be the number of eternity, where those upon the earth influenced by it will be remembered long after they are gone. And so will it be with Health Ledger. His star will undoubtedly shine on as one of the great acting talents of his time.
